Twenty-First Annual Nursing Research Conference - Decision Making

The Twenty-First Annual Nursing Research Conference will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. This conference will focus on research related to decision making for advancing nursing practice and patient outcomes across the care continuum. Decision making may include clinical reasoning, decision making processes, and cultural influences on decision making. Examples of topics to be explored are decisions related to treatment options, patient self management, care giving, decision support tools, policy and legislation, and shared governance.

The goals of the conference are to:
• Disseminate evidence related to various aspects of decision making research that
influences nursing practice and/or patient outcomes.
• Promote opportunities for scholarly networking.
