Conference description and goals
The 2012 Perinatal Nursing Conference offers information for nurses caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings related to at-risk pregnancies. Conference highlights include nutrition issues for high-risk pregnancies, anesthesia complications of obesity, and care of pregnant women post-bariatric surgery. Updates for the sixth edition of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program will be addressed. Current clinical information is offered to assist nurses providing care for pregnant women and their families across the continuum of care. Accomplished faculty will provide insight for all nurses, novice to expert.

Intended audience
The program is designed for nurses, social workers, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals who care for pregnant women, newborns, premature and sick infants, and their families.

This conference will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 on the Mayo Clinic campus in Phillips Hall, Siebens Building, 100 Second Avenue SW, Rochester, Minnesota.
