Conference description and goals
Mayo Clinic is pleased to present the 2012 Orthopedic Nursing Conference Patients in
Motion. The conference is designed to explore orthopedic topics with dynamic presentations
highlighting the history of orthopedics, current trends, and future advancements. New
practices designed to restore and improve the mobility of orthopedic patients will be described.
The goals of the conference are to:
• Promote knowledge and innovation to advance the care of orthopedic patients.
• Provide resources necessary for the advancement of the profession of nursing.
Location
This conference will be held in Phillips Hall, first floor, Siebens
Building, 100 Second Avenue SW, Rochester, Minnesota.
Intended audience
The conference is designed for nurses, social workers, physical therapists, and other
healthcare professionals interested in the care of orthopedic patients.
