2012 Mayo Spiritual Care Research Conference

The call for abstracts is now closed.

Abstracts for podium presentations are being sought for:
• Completed research or program relating to the conference themes.
• Clinical application of spiritual care research.

Abstracts for poster presentations are being sought for:
• Ongoing or completed research or program relating to the conference themes.
• Clinical application of spiritual care research.

Who should submit
Physicians, nurses, chaplains, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare
providers are invited to submit abstracts for podium or poster presentations.

How to submit
Submit your abstract here. Be sure to attach all authors’ curriculum vitae.

Fees
All podium and poster presenters must register for the conference. Conference
presenters are expected to assume costs related to travel, accommodations, and
registration. Submission of an abstract signifies intent of the author to present.

Selection and notification
A review committee will evaluate research abstracts using the following criteria: Clear problem statement and purpose, methods, results, conclusions, applicability to practice and conference theme, and writing quality. Abstracts about programs will be reviewed for theory and/or evidence-based clinical relevance, and feasibility. Only abstracts with application to practice will be considered.

Notification of accepted abstracts and commitment for presentation at the conference will be made by Friday, March 30, 2012.
