Conference description and goals
The 2012 LPN Clinical Practice Review is designed to share the most current developments on a variety of healthcare topics. This year’s conference will focus on treatments for patients with both acute and chronic diseases, along with current definitions and interventions included in palliative care. Strategies for dealing with behavior challenges will be addressed. Participants will be introduced to techniques for thriving in the healthcare environment.
The goals of the conference are to:
• Create positive responses in behavior management.
• Provide tools to assist patients and families when treatment options have been exhausted.
• Describe advances in healthcare that contribute to better outcomes for patients.
Intended audience
This conference is designed for licensed practical nurses and other healthcare providers who
work in a variety of settings and desire a clinical update.
Location
This conference will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Mayo Civic Center, 30 Civic
Center Drive SE, Rochester, Minnesota.
